OUR BELIEFS
ABOUT THE BIBLE
The Bible is the infallible Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16; Ephesians 3:5; II Peter 3:2) We believe it was written under divine inspiration. We accept the scriptures as the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
ABOUT GOD
There is one God, Who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. Jesus was both fully God and fully man (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16).
ABOUT SIN & SALVATION
Everyone has sinned and needs to be saved. Salvation comes by grace through faith and known by our obedience to His Word. We know that our salvation is based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9).
ABOUT THE GOSPEL
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Good News. The Gospel is His death, burial, and resurrection. We are instructed to obey the Gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter 4:17) by repentance of sins-death, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ -burial, and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit -resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4).
ABOUT THE CHURCH
We believe the Church has been "called out" of the world to be a habitation of God through the Holy Spirit. As the body of Christ on earth, the church offers hope to mankind. The church is one body made up of many members, diverse in their gifts and callings of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:16-20). We are the church by meeting regularly together as instructed by the Scriptures (Hebrews 10:25) as well as learning from His Word, singing praises to Him, praying with and for each other and bearing one another's burdens.
ABOUT CHRISTIAN LIVING
As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today (Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10).
ABOUT THE FUTURE
Jesus Christ will return to the Earth to catch the church away (I Thes. 4:16, 17), and shall, after a short time, return to set up His kingdom on Earth (Revelation 19:11-16; Matthew 24:29-3. We believe in Heaven and Hell; that there will be a final calling away - resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death (Revelation 20:11 15).
